Cambodia
Meng Eang Nay assumed the position of deputy chief of mission on Aug. 2, replacing Kosal Sea, who departed the post on July 25. Nay previously served as director of the International Organizations Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2000-05) and as counselor in the Cambodian Permanent Mission to the United Nations (1997-2000).
Denmark
Niels Junker Jacobsen assumed the position of minister counselor (economics) on Sept. 1, replacing Niels Boel Abrahamsen, who departed the post on Sept. 1.
Søren Jensen assumed the position of minister, deputy chief of mission on Oct. 1, replacing Karsten A. Jensen, who departed the post on Oct. 1.
Joakim S. Mikkelsen assumed the position of counselor (health care) on Nov. 1, replacing Helge Lund, who departed the post on Aug. 1.
Friis Arne Petersen became ambassador of Denmark to the United States on Oct. 1, replacing Ukrik Federspiel, who departed the post on Oct. 1.
Stig Piras assumed the position of first secretary (commercial) on Sept. 1, replacing Søren Skydsgaard, who departed the post on Sept. 1.
Jesper Møller Sørensen assumed the position of minister counselor (political) on Sept. 1, replacing Michael Lund Jeppesen, who departed the post on Sept. 1.
Namibia
Ellen Christina Beukes assumed the position of third secretary on Oct. 1. Beukes previously served as a senior private secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2002-05), third secretary at the Namibian Embassy to the Benelux States (2000-02), and third secretary at the Namibian embassies in France and Zimbabwe.
Romania
149; Viorel Onel assumed the position of minister counselor (economic affairs) on July 1, replacing Dan Enache, who departed the post on June 30. Onel previously served as minister counselor in Chicago (2002-04) and New York City (1998-2002) as well as minister counselor in the Romanian Embassy in Ottawa (1992-96).
Maj. Raileanu Stefan assumed the position of assistant defense, military, naval and air attaché on Aug. 1, replacing Mocanu Mircea, who departed the post on Aug. 1.
