Chargé dAffaires Penijamini Ravulolo Tuikubulau Lomaloma

The embassy does not have an ambassador at this time.
Since June 20, 2007, the head of the embassy has been the chargé daffaires, first secretary Penijamini Ravulolo Tuikubulau Lomaloma, or Peni, as he is called, who assumed the position of first secretary in January 2006.
Prior to his appointment, he was the principal administrative officer (Security Forces) at the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration, where he had served since 1990. Before that he had served as a trainee intelligence analyst with the Joint Intelligence Center of the Office of the Prime Minister in 1989 and senior consumer affairs officer with the Consumer Council of Fiji in 1987. Mr. Lomaloma is a member of the Reserves of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces and saw active service in 1983 with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, where he was awarded the U.N. Interim Force in Lebanon Medal. In 1995, he was also awarded the Independence Anniversary Medal.
He holds a bachelors degree in administration from the University of the South Pacific, a graduate diploma in strategic studies from the Joint Services Staff College in Canberra, Australia, and a diploma in civil military strategy for internal development from the U.S. Air Force Special Operations School in Florida.
He is married to Louise Angela and they have a daughter named Mereadani Tutolu. |
